Actor Robin Padilla is so far the top choice for senator, based on the partial and unofficial count from the data provided by the transparency server of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to the Manila Bulletin dashboard.

Padilla garnered 22,925,977 votes while three-term senator and incumbent House Deputy Speaker Loren Legarda got 21,310,433 votes.
As of 12:32 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, broadcaster Raffy Tulfo was at third spot with 20,599,604, followed by Senator Sherwin Garchalian with 18,156,397; Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero with 17,935,043, and former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Mark Villar with 16,990,363.
In the lower half of the Magic 12, former Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano secured the seventh spot with 16,930,046; Senator Miguel Zubiri in eighth with 16,395,807, and Joel Villanueva next with 16,365,236.
In 10th to 12th spots were JV Ejercito with 13,909,014, Risa Hontiveros with 13,701,808, and Jinggoy Estrada with 13,155,710.
With long shots of making it to the Top 12 were former vice president Jojo Binay at 13th (11,659,266), former Quezon City mayor Herbert Bautista (11,460,577), and former defense secretary Gibo Teodoro (11,149,479).
