A fire burned down 25 houses in Barangay Sucat, Muntinlupa on May 8.
According to the Muntinlupa City Fire Station, the fire started from the second floor of a three-story residential structure in Sitio Aplaya, Purok 6 in Sucat at 1:27 a.m.



Firefighters raised the first alarm at 1:27 a.m. followed by a second alarm at 1:34 a.m.
The fire razed 25 homes, affecting about 50 families and damaging P1.5 million worth of properties.
According to the report, fire volunteer Rick Valenzuela was injured in the blaze.
A total of 32 fire trucks and two ambulances responded to the incident. The Muntinlupa City government will provide assistance to the affected families.
The fire was put under control at 4:02 a.m. and was put out at 4:14 a.m. The cause of the fire is under investigation, the fire station said.
