While holding rosary beads, Pulong Duterte thanks supporters during campaign rally in Davao City

DAVAO CITY – Congressman Paolo ‘Pulong’ Duterte, who is seeking re-election in Davao City’s first district, held a rosary during a recent campaign rally in Barangay Matina Pangi.

Pulong said the challenges he went through in life made him realize the importance of the rosary.

“Lisod ning muagi ka’g hapit mamatay (It is tough when you have experienced near death),” Pulong said in jest.

He also stirred his brother and mayoral candidate Sebastian Duterte, who joined the campaign rally, to do the same.

The audience was excited when Pulong graced the event and gave his speech. Aside from cracking jokes, he also showed some dance moves to lighten up the mood of the audience during the rally.

It can be recalled that the lawmaker was isolated in a hospital after he tested positive for Covid-19.

Pulong vowed to the public that he would continue all the programs and services his office had started and could offer to the people of the first district and Davao City.

He also thanked all his staff and supporters for their love and full support for him and his family.

Before he concluded his speech, Pulong encouraged everyone to support presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and vice-presidential candidate, his sister, Sara Duterte-Carpio.
