Parañaque City LGU to implement liquor ban on Election Day

Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez ordered the implementation of a liquor ban starting midnight of May 8 up to 11:59 p.m. of May 9.

Olivarez said the selling, serving, and consumption of liquor and other alcoholic drinks are prohibited on the said dates.

He said only hotels, resorts, restaurants, and other establishments with written authority from regional. provincial, and city election officer are exempted from the prohibition.

The mayor said only foreign tourists and authorized hotels and other establishments are exempted from the prohibition on consumption.
