Bea Alonzo hints at being Kakampink

Actress Bea Alonzo is the latest star to use her influence to remind fans about the importance of the upcoming election.

She reminded her 10.8 million Instagram followers: "You are WORTHY."

"You deserve good quality of life, a chance to dream, a quality education, to never go hungry, someone who will show up, the truth, someone who will never steal from them, and good governance."

"You deserve nothing less because YOU ARE A FILIPINO," she added.

"Ang boto ko ay para sa Pilipino," she ended, along with cherry blossom and Philippine flag emojis.

Note that pink has been associated with presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo.

In fact, her supporters are even called "Kakampink."

The comment section was immediately filled with pink heart emojis.

Among those who reacted were Angel Locsin, Jake Ejercito, and Jerald Napoles, known supporters of the Vice President.

Some days ago, Bea joined the GMA network election advocacy "Dapat totoo."

"Malapit na ang May 9. Responsibilidad natin bilang Pilipino, hindi lang pansarili ngunit para sa samabayanan at sa susunod na henerasyon na maging totoo at mapanuri kung sino ang nararapat mahalal bilang lider ng ating bayan," she wrote. "Ating suriin, nagampanan nya ba ang kanyang tungkulin upang maipahatid sa atin ang kanyang plataporma? Ano na ang kanyang nagawa? at pwedeng magagawa pa upang umunlad ang ating bansa?"

She accompanied it with her video saying: "Magkakaiba tayong mga Pilipino pero magkakatulad ang pangarap natin - magkaroon ng disente at ligtas na buhay, at magandang kinabukasan. Nasa ating lahat ang responsibilidad. Sa bawat kandidato, botante, at mga tagapagbalita para makamit ang pangarap na ito. Kaya ngayong eleksyon, lahat tayo, sa isip, sa salita, at sa gawa dapat totoo."
