Pia Wurtzbach makes sweet promise to her mom after engagement to Jeremy Jauncey

Following the announcement of her engagement to Scottish businessman Jeremy Jauncey on Friday, May 6, Miss Universe 2015 made a sweet message to her mother Cheryl Alonzo who is currently based in London.

On her Instagram Story, Pia wrote a sweet note to her mom: "One day I'm gonna take my parents here ... for my Mom's bday maybe? @cherylalonzozoig." She was referring to the luxury beach resort in Amanpulo, Palawan. Pia's mom reposted her daughter's IG story.

Pia and Jeremy are currently on vacation in Amanpulo where they surprised fans about their engagement.

Aside from her mom, Pia's sister Sarah is also based in the United Kingdom.

Jeremy said that the best sunset he's seen in his whole life of traveling was in Palawan, according to Pia.

"Amanpulo will always be special," she added.
