Parañaque police all set for BBM-Sara miting de avance on May 7

A total of 600 Parañaque policemen will be deployed to secure the miting de avance of presidential candidate former Sen. Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr, and his running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte on Saturday, May 7, in front of Solaire Resort and Casino.

Col. Maximo Sebastian, the city police chief, said the deployment was made to secure the venue, perimeter, and at the ingress and egress areas to ensure the peaceful and orderly conduct of the miting de avance.

Sebastian said a command post will be set up to be manned by the police and other personnel to ensure that no untoward incident will occur during the rally.

He said a traffic plan has been made to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles coming from different cities in Metro Manila and adjacent provinces.

“We are ready for the Bongbong-Sara miting de avance on Saturday,” Sebastian said.
