Marcos thanks Quiboloy for helping UniTeam

TAGUM CITY, Davao del Norte--Presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos has thanked Kingdom of Jesus Christ, The Name Above Every Name (KOJC) church leader, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy for the latter's help to the UniTeam ticket throughout the campaign period.

Marcos had just finished his speech at the UniTeam's second "miting de avance" here on Thursday night, May 6 when he granted an interview from SMNI network.

At the tailend of 150-second interview, Marcos was asked to give a message to Quiboloy, who is the honorary chairman of SMNI.

"Magandang gabi pastor! (Good evening pastor!)" the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) standard-bearer said.

"At alam ko, alam niyo po hindi lang sa SMNI, hindi lamang sa lahat ng inyong ginawa dito sa kampanyang ito, ay lahat ng tulong na ibinigay niyo sa UniTeam, maraming, maraming salamat muli (Aside from that of SMNI and all the help that you've done for this campaign, for all the help that you've given to the UniTeam, again, thank you very much)," the Ilocano candidate said in a short but warm message.

The survey-leading Marcos did not specify what kind of assistance the UniTeam received from Quiboloy. The 90-day campaign period for the national elections will officially end on Saturday, May 7.

SMNI organized the sole presidential debate that Marcos attended throughout the campaign season.

Quiboloy is the spiritual adviser of President Duterte.
