Despite lagging behind other candidates, presidential aspirant Senator Manny Pacquiao is confident he will still win in the upcoming elections and emerge as a "dark horse" of the race.
Pacquiao and his camp made the prediction based on the number of supporters showing up at his motorcades and grand rallies in various provinces.
"Nakita ninyo iyong tao, kasama ko kayo, wala akong hakot, wala akong pang-merienda o kahit patubig sa kanila. Halos isang araw silang naghihintay, hapon pa lang naghihintay na sila dumating tayo (You see that I don't have paid supporters. I can't even give them snacks nor drinks. It almost takes them a full day to wait for my arrival)," he said Tuesday.
Pacquiao's camp described his caravans that always come with proceeds to grand rallies as having thick crowds. This happens despite not having any big-time celebrities, his camp added.

Pacquiao believed this was because those representing the D and E classes have grown tired of traditional politics.
"Talagang mga tao ay uhaw sa tunay na pagbabago at nararamdaman nila sa puso ni MP (Manny Pacquiao), si MP ang kanilang pag-asa para sa tunay na pagbabago (People really thirst for change and they feel that MP has a heart and that he is their hope for change)," he said.
