The distribution of the voters information sheet (VIS) is now nearly complete.

During a palace briefing, Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner George Garcia on Wednesday, May 4, revealed that they've already distributed 80 percent of the VIS.
The Comelec is set to distribute more than 65 million VIS for the May 9 polls.
On Sunday, Garcia asked voters to just wait for their VIS as this will all be distributed before the May 9 polls.
The VIS contains the name of the voter, the polling precinct, do's and dont's in voting, the candidates.
Based on Republic Act No. 7904 states that the Comelec must provide all registered voters, through registered mail, with a voter information sheet at least 30 days before an election which shall include the voter’s name, address, the precinct and the place where he is registered, and simplified instructions as to the casting of votes.
