QCPD celebrates National Flag Day

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) has participated on the Nationwide Flag Raising Ceremony in celebration of the National Flag Day on Tuesday, May 31 at the QCPD Grandstand.

The said event was attended by the QCPD command group, D-Staff and other Police Non-Commissioned staffs.

“Like the sun and the stars embroidered in our Philippine flag, may we also serve as a lighting torch that illuminates the city, through a service that is beyond the call of duty and one that goes to the heart of the people of Quezon City,” QCPD Director PBGEN Remus Medina said.

The National Flag Day is celebrated in the country on May 28 based on the issued Presidential Proclamation No. 374 on March 6, 1965.
