The Peninsula Manila presents a sip and savor a celebration of Spain’s Emilio Moro Winery
Set to welcome the month of June in a high spirit, the Peninsula Manila is crafting a special dinner that spotlights great flavors paired with exceptional wines. On June 1, the hotel’s signature restaurant, Old Manila, is the place to be for wine lovers as executive chef Xavier Castello creates a five-course dinner complementing one of Spain’s most celebrated wineries—Bodegas Emilio Moro.

The Spanish winery is known as the leading winemaker from the Castile and León region’s “Golden Mile,” whose passion for winemaking stretches back more than a century. The dinner, from appetizer to dessert, will be paired with a classic Polvorete Godello, Bierzo white wine, along with a fresh El Zarzal Godello, Bierzo, and the bodega’s premium red Emilio Moro, Ribera del Duero, and the organic red wine La Felisa, Ribera del Duero.
The five-course dinner menu promises a delightful savory experience with dishes like beef carpaccio, shellfish bisque, beef cheek ravioli, and Australian lamb chops. For dessert, chef Xavier and his culinary team will be serving a decadent 70 percent chocolate mousse with crunchy praline and salted caramel sauce.

The Old Manila degustation menu is priced at P6,000, inclusive of taxes, and starts at 6:30 p.m. Pre-paid reservations are required as there is very limited seating.
