Ogie Diaz defends James Reid from bashers

James Reid is under fire.

At least on social media.

Not a few people are complaining about him being Liza Soberano's next manager.

Note the matter became public with Ogie Diaz, Liza's soon-to-be-former-manager announcing it in a vlog.

Some fans believe James "ill-equipped" to handle the role.

Others think he is simply going to "use" Liza to further himself.

Quick to come to James defense is Ogie himself.

In his latest vlog, Ogie urged fans not to be too harsh in judging James.

“Hindi natin dapat kinukwestiyon si James Reid kung gaano siya kahusay mag-manage. Unang una, grupo silang magma-manage kay Liza. Hindi lang si James. Signatory lang si James Reid sa bawat kontratang papasukan ni Liza,” he said.

“Siyempre hindi naman natin dapat husgahan si James Reid. Siyempre kakapunta pa lang sa kanila ni Liza. Bakit ka naiinip kung wala pang nangyayari? Nag-uumpisa pa lang so wait, wait, wait ka,” he added.

Ogie made clear he would be the first to come to Liza's aid if and when she calls for him.

“Abang-abang lang tayo (sa gagawin ni Liza). Ang importante...buo pa rin naman ang aming linya ng komunikasyon. Sabi namin sa isa’t isa, kapag may kailangan kami sa isa’t isa, kami ay magtatawagan lang.”
