CSC Commissioner Aileen Lourdes A. Lizada said newly appointed officials are oriented in the local executive forums about the civil service rule, the dos and don’ts, and the consequences for violations.

According to her, the forums are being conducted through the CSC’s regional offices.

“We encourage ‘yung (the) newly appointed officials to attend personally para alam nila ang role nila (so that they know their role) in regards hiring, and ‘yung (the) dos and don’ts within the respective offices,” she said during a “Laging Handa” virtual media briefing.

Lizada noted that the forums will take two to three days, stressing such is salient to guide the newly appointed officials on the process of appointments.

“At kung magpapadala po kayo ng representative, hindi ho ninyo nakukuha ‘yung eksaktong punto why we conduct local executive forum (And if you are going to send just a representative, you will not get the exact point why we conduct local executive forum),” she said.

“Para ho ito sa inyo para hindi ho ma-disapprove ang appointment na inyong ginagawa (This is for you, in order for your appointment not to be disapproved),” the CSC commissioner added.
