Navotas LGU opens multi-purpose building

Mayor Toby Tiangco and Cong. John Rey Tiangco led the inauguration and blessing of the city's newest multi-purpose building in Kapitbahayan, Brgy. NBBS Kaunlaran, Navotas on Monday, May 2.

"This building, and all other three-storey multi-purpose projects, feature a wood-planked basketball court on the top floor, offices and meeting halls on the second floor, and parking spaces on the first floor," Tiangco said.

"We no longer have to search elsewhere for venues of various events or functions because our meeting halls and basketball court can accommodate them," he added.

The three-storey building is one of the eight buildings that Tiangco had lobbied for funding from the Department of Public Works and Highways.

Set to be completed this year are the multi-purpose buildings Phase 1-A, Phase 1-B, and Phase 1-C in Brgy. NBBS Kaunlaran, and Phase 2 Area 1 and Tumana in Brgy. NBBS Dagat-dagatan.

Construction for the 3-storey buildings in Brgy. San Rafael Village and in NavotaAs Homes 1-Tanza has already started.
