Gallup Korea names top 20 favorite TV shows in Korea in April

Polling firm Gallup Korea has released the results of its monthly survey for favorite TV programs for April.

The survey was conducted from April 19 to 21 among 1,000 people aged 18 and above in South Korea.

Placing first with 6.1 percent is the tvN talk show “You Quiz on the Block” hosted by “Running Man” star Yoo Jae-suk and Jo Se-ho.

Grabbing second place is the KBS2 drama “Love Twist” with 4.1 percent. Tied for third place are the KBS1 drama “The King of Tears, Lee Bang” starring Joo Sang-wook, Park Jin-hee and Kim Young-chul, and MBC’s “Hangout with You” with 3 percent each.

In fifth place is the KBS2 drama “It's Beautiful Now” starring Yoon Shi-yoon, Bae Da-bin, Oh Min-suk and Shin Dong-mi with 2.5 percent

Here are the top 20 favorite TV programs in South Korea in April:

1. You Quiz on the Block (tvN) - 6.1%

2. Love Twist (KBS2) - 4.1%

3. The King of Tears, Lee Bang (KBS1) - 3%

5. It's Beautiful Now (KBS2) - 2.5%

- My Little Old Boy (SBS) - 2.5%

7. Bravo, My Life (KBS1) - 2.3%

8. I Am a Natural Person (MBN) 2.2%

9. Our Blues (tvN) - 1.9%

- Running Man (SBS) - 1.9%

11. 2 Days & 1 Night (KBS2) - 1.8%

12. The Story of the Day that Bites the Tail on the Tail (SBS) - 1.5%

- Kick a Goal (SBS) - 1.5%

14. Let’s Play Soccer 2 (JTBC) - 1.4%

-World Theme Travel (EBS) 1.4%

16. Military Prosecutor Doberman (tvN) - 1.3%

- Twenty-Five Twenty-One (tvN) - 1.3%
