Aiko Melendez reiterates support for BBM, Sara Duterte

Many thought Aiko Melendez shifted support to the Leni-Kiko tandem.

This, after she posted online a photo of her son Andrei Yllana hugging a supporter while a poster of Presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo and running mate Senator Kiko Pangilinan is seen in the background.

The actress-politician was quick to correct assumptions.

"Bat daw ako naging Leni- Kiko eh BBM ako. Eto po ang simpleng explanation. Nangangampanya po mga anak ko kanina and me gate dun ng supporter namen na maka Leni- Kiko di ko kailanman ang naging ugali na saklawan ang utak at isip ng aking mga supporters," she explained.

"Kahit sa kapamilya ko kapatid ko maka Leni, Ako maka BBM never kami nag away para sa sino man ang nais namen supportahan," she added.

The seasoned star reiterated she will remain a supporter of Bongbong Marcos-Sara Duterte tandem.

"Hindi po ako lumipat ng susupportahan po. Dahil me paninindigan po ako. At kng ano man po ang kakalabasan ng Elections rerespetuhin namen po yan. Pero wag nyo po ako pigilan ng nais ko supportahan. Nacionalista party po ako sa totoo lng po di ko pa nakikilala sila Senator Bongbong Marcos at Inday Sara, pero un ang paninindigan ko asa kanila ang aking paniniwala. Lawakan po naten ang isip naten. . Iam for @bongbongmarcos @indaysaraduterte all the way."
