RTC judge's wife shot dead by motorcycle-riding gunmen in Ilagan, Isabela

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela – The wife of a Regional Trial Court judge here was shot dead by motorcycle-riding gunmen in Brgy. San Felipe in this city on Wednesday, May 25.

The victim was identified as Agnes Cabauatan-Palce, wife of Judge Ariel Palce of Ilagan Regional Trial Court Branch 40. Agnes was also the internal audit manager of Isabela Electric Cooperative 2 (ISELCO 2).

Agnes was riding on a van and was on her way home when the two unidentified gunmen riding on motorcycle overtook her car.

The back-rider shot her at a close range, and the police said Agnes was hit on her right jaw.

Victim was rushed to the nearest hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

The suspects immediately fled to an unknown direction.

Police are still investigating the shooting incident to determine the motive and identify the possible suspects involved.
