3 drug peddlers arrested in Parañaque buy-bust

A 40-year-old man tagged by the police as street level individual (SLI) for selling drugs was arrested together with two other drug peddlers in a buy-bust operation conducted by members of the Southern Police District Drug Enforcement Unit (SPD-DEU) in Parañaque City on Tuesday, May 24.

SPD Chief Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg identified the suspects as Alexander Racca, Victor Cruz, 29, and Ruchard Olindo, 42, a security guard.

Macaraeg said the suspects were arrested around 8:00 p.m. along NAIA Avenue, Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City.

He said DEU operatives were able to confiscate from the suspects four sachets containing around 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000.

The SPD chief said the suspects are now detained at the SPD custodial facility and charged for violation of RA 9165 (illegal possession of drugs).

The confiscated shabu was brought to the Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.

Macaraeg urged the public to help authorities by providing vital information regarding illegal drug activities in their communities.
