OPPO steps up with the Find X5 Pro

We've always been big fans of OPPO devices. They've always surprised us with their cameras and the first Find X blew us out of the water when it was first shown in 2018. Now the OPPO Find X5 Pro is here and we are just as excited as ever.

One of the hottest introductions with the Find X5 Pro is OPPO's own imaging Neural Processing Unit, called MariSilicon X, which improves video taking at night. On top of that, OPPO has partnered with Hasselblad, a prominent Swedish camera maker. Of course the Find X5 Pro has 5G and would have been a sin if it did not support the new standard. SUPERVOOC flash-charging is also here, as expected from OPPO.

OPPO's MariSilicon X supports 4K Ultra Night Video from its Sony IMX766 50MP camera. The Find X5 Pro's front camera, which boasts Sony's IMX709 sensor is also designed to capture bright and colorful images under low light conditions. 

The inclusion of Hasselblad is more than just a name. The Find X5 Pro features Hasselblad's Natural Color Calibration for more color accuracy and a range of filters, which also comes from Hasselblad. To draw out the filmmaker in you, OPPO included cinematic panoramas and vintage-styled images with the XPan mode, which should make content creation very interesting in the coming months.

Other features include IP68, which makes it water and dust resistant. The 6.7-inch curved AMOLED features WQHD+ resolution with 100% P3 gamut coverage. Under its hood, the Find X5 Pro is pumped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 5000mAh battery, 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
