K-pop group ASTRO's 'Drive to the Starry Road' tops weekly album chart

K-pop idol group ASTRO topped the weekly album chart with their new release “Drive to the Starry Road.”

According to Korea’s Hanteo Chart, “Drive to the Starry Road” emerged as the No. 1 album on the weekly physical album chart for the period May 16 to 22 with 229,283 copies sold.

ASTRO released the album on May 16 and the total also represents the idol group’s first-week sales for “Drive to the Starry Road.”

The group’s last album “Switch On,” released in August 2021, sold 275,145 copies in the first week of release, according to Hanteo Chart.

ASTRO’s members are actor-singer Cha Eun-woo, Moonbin, Sanha, MJ, Rocky and Jinjin.

Here are the 30 top-selling albums in Korea from May 16 to 22, according to Hanteo Chart:
