Discovery Philippines Singing Contest reveals finalists

Fourteen aspiring singers Kevin Hermogenes, Leeana Kelly, Marvin Morales, Czarina Umali, Imogen Atangan, Jinky Sowell, Claire Geonzon, Justin Amigo, Caren Mempin, Dada Lampitoc, Jane Chang, Kenneth Laurente, Marielle Constantino, and Haydee Gallardo were announced as this year’s finalists at Discovery Philippines Singing Contest.

Discovery Philippines is organized by The Voice USA alumna and top prized winner at Discovery Angel Bonilla together with multi-awarded singer, CEO of Starlink Promotions Garth Garcia.

“We are looking for a total package and someone who can represent the Philippines really well,” says producer Garth Garcia.

The grand winner will take home an all-expense paid trip to compete in Europe as the Philippine representative and price packages worth US$10,000.

Garth adds, “We will also include the winner to shows and concerts here aside from earning the right to represent the Philippines to the international competition.”

Also produced by Jane Entrepreneur and philantropist Geoffrey Jimenez, the competition will be held at Envision Center, Van Nuys, California on May 27.
