Outgoing Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi topped a survey for congressman in Muntinlupa City.
In the "Boses ng Bayan: NCR 2022" survey conducted by the RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD), Fresnedi grabbed first place with 82 percent against five percent garnered by rival Silverio Garing, or an edge of 77 percentage points.

The RPMD survey was held from April 17 to 21 through face-to-face interviews with 10,000 respondents randomly selected from 7,322,361 registered voters in various areas of Metro Manila with a margin of error from 2.5 to 3.0 percent for large cities while the margin of error for small local government units with 850 respondents was 3.36 percent.
Fresnedi was elated by the survey results.
“Track Record and Performance are the outcome of the 82℅ survey,” said Fresnedi.
Fresnedi is in his third and last term as mayor of Muntinlupa and is running for congressman in the lone district in the city.
The mayor addressed city officials and employees on May 2 during the flag-raising ceremony and emphasized the importance of the May 9 elections.
"Nakapahalaga ng pagpili natin sa mamumuno sa atin dito sa Lungsod ng Muntinlupa, gayundin sa ating bansang Pilipinas. Alam po ninyo, mahabang panahon na ako ay naging ama ng ating lungsod at naging ama sa bawat isa sa inyo. (Choosing the next leaders in Muntinlupa City and our country is very important. You know, I have served as the father of our city and to each one of you for a long time),” he said.
Fresnedi added, “Inisip ko po kung ano ang makakabuti sa ating lungsod at makabubuti sa inyo bilang ama. Ginawa nating lahat at kasama kayo sa plano, kasama kayo sa pagpapatupad ng mga planong ito. (I thought about what was best for our city and what was best for you as a father. We did it all and you were part of the plan and you were part of the implementation of these plans)."
He said the program of good governance in the city will be continued by the One Muntinlupa team led by Muntinlupa Rep. Ruffy Biazon, who is running for mayor, together with incumbent Vice Mayor Artemio Simundac.
In the same RPMD survey, Biazon was the No. 1 choice for mayor with 85 percent while his rival, Red Mariñas, got 13 percent.
