3 drug suspects arrested in Parañaque buy-bust

A female drug suspect and her two companions were arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by members of the Parañaque police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) on Thursday, May 19.

Col. Maximo Sebastian, city police chief, identified the suspects as Ma. Luisa Fernandez, 42; Manuelito Cruz De Leon, 44; and Alvin Jaime Bermdez, 39; all residents of Parañaque City.

Sebastian said members of the SDEU and police Sub-Station 4 conducted a buy-bust operation around 1:00 a.m. along Pelaez St., Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City after receiving numerous complaints on the illegal activities of the suspects.

The city police chief said police operatives were able to confiscate from the suspects 14.1 grams of shabu worth P95,880, one plastic canister, and the P500 used as buy-bust money.

Sebastian said the suspects are now detained at the Parañaque City police custodial facility and were charged for illegal possession of drugs.
