Woman nabbed in Tagaytay for shoplifting 13 disinfectant spray cans

TAGAYTAY CITY, Cavite – A woman was arrested for stealing 13 disinfectant spray cans from a supermarket in Barangay Maharlika East here on Tuesday, May 17.

Tagaytay City Police Station identified the suspect as Lorna B. Parcon, a resident of Malabon City.

The establishment's security guard caught Parcon and two other accomplices stealing the disinfectants and stuffing them inside a large bag.

The two accomplices were able to flee.

The police recovered the stolen disinfectant spray cans with a total worth of P5,196.75.

Senior Master Sergeant Jude L. Camitan told the Manila Bulletin that the suspect planned to make money by selling the disinfectants.

Parcon is now under police custody and is facing theft charges.
