'Super excited' Robredo looks for copies of campaign artworks, songs

Outgoing Vice President Leni Robredo is relishing the prospect of documenting artworks, songs, and other memorabilia from her presidential campaign this year after she expressed interest to put these items in archive after her term ends on June 30.

For Robredo, after all, her campaign is one of a kind because of the level of volunteerism some say has never seen before in Philippine elections.

“Special request to send us high res(olution) copies of all the murals, paintings, other artworks created all throughout the campaign period. Also, files/copies of all the songs, campaign jingles, etc composed,” she said in a Facebook post Monday night, May 16.

“We plan to document and archive everything. Super excited to see and listen to everything in just one collection,” Robredo added.

The Vice President made the call for copies of artworks and songs following her plan to put up what she called a “pink” museum that would house the several gifts she received from her supporters during the 90-day campaign period.

Robredo said her supporters or “kakampinks“ can the send the copies to the email address she will post on her official Facebook page.

The lone female presidential contender was a distant second, garnering 14.8 million votes, behind frontrunner former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr. who got over 31 million votes.

Marcos Jr. is poised to be proclaimed as the country’s 17th president.
