Navotas City opens six Covid-19 2nd booster vax sites

Navotas City residents who are immunocompromised and 18 years old and above can visit six Covid-19 vaccination sites to get their second booster jabs, the local government announced on Monday, May 16.

The vaccinations sites for the second booster doses are Kaunlaran High School and NBBN Health Center for the first district; and Bagong Lipunan Health Center, San Roque Health Center, Tangos Health Center, and Tanza Health Center for District 2.

According to the local government, the Covid-19 second booster shots will be given to adults who received their first booster doses three months prior.

It said that immunocompromised individuals such as persons with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), cancer patients, bedridden, and those who take immunosuppressive drugs like steroids and others can get the booster shots.

The local government urged residents to bring their vaccination cards on their vaccination day and to check the “Navoteño Ako- Navotas City Public Information Office” Facebook Page for the schedules.
