WALA LANG

I spent so much time on election night keeping track of the count and along the way reading Facebook posts of both Pinks and Reds. The temperature was obviously high, carried over from the campaign period when strangers insulted strangers, friends unfriended friends, siblings disowned siblings. Happily my family, associates, friends, and neighbors were not the aggressive type and I didn’t get into any arguments even if only two made it out of the 10 candidates I voted for senator.

We expect re-opening benefits for the GDP grown trajectory to wane next year and put strong pressure on the government to deliver on capital outlay spending acceleration. We downgrade the Philippines to underweight and the Philippine Real Estate sector to neutral. Our new order of preference in ASEAN is Indonesia > Vietnam > Singapore > Thailand > Malaysia > Philippines.
