Maynilad announces water interruption in 8 Metro Manila cities, Bulacan

Parts of eight cities in the Metro Manila and in Bulacan will experience water service interruption which will be implemented by the Maynilad Water Services, Inc. starting Monday evening, May 16, until June 1.

The Maynilad Water Services, Inc. said that the service interruption in portions of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela, Manila, Paranaque, Makati, Quezon Cities and Bulacan will occur from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. daily during the said dates.

It said that the affected areas will have low to no water supply due to high water demand during daytime. The interruptions will enable Maynilad to refill its reservoirs.

It apologized to the customers but assured them that mobile water tankers have been on standby to deliver potable water when needed.

“We encourage our affected customers to store enough water when supply is available. Upon resumption of water service, please let the water flow out briefly until it clears,” Maynilad said.
