SUBIC, Zambales – Four suspected drug personalities were arrested as anti-narcotic operatives raided a drug den on Sunday afternoon (May 15) at Purok 6B, Muslim Area, Barangay Calapacuan, Subic.

Operatives of Philippine Drug enforcement Agency – Zambales Provincial Office, and police personnel identified the suspects as Hajiraya Ibnohali @Ajing, 48, resident of Purok 6B, Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales who is said to be the maintainer of the drug den, Sheila Gatos @Dimple, 33, resident of 12th St. New Kalalake, Olongapo City; Rita Garcia, 33, and Rocky Arpilleda, 35, both of Upper Kalaklan, Olongapo City.

The raiders confiscated four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing 13 grams of suspected shabu amounting to P89,700, assorted drug paraphernalia and the marked money used by the poseur buyer during buy-bust.

Narcotics intelligence said the place had been under their surveillance after receiving information that illegal drug trade had become rampant in the said area.

“Madalas na may mga labas pasok na tao at kakaibang kilos kahit anong oras,” police said, quoting a concerned resident in the area.

“Mabuti na lang at ang mga operatiba ay kumilos at nahuli na ang mga perwisyo ng bayan, nakakatakot din ang mga ganyang aktibidad nila” another resident said.
