Bulacan's 5 municipalities, 1 city remain COVID-19-free

Despite the huge crowd generated in the recent political campaign period in Bulacan, the Provincial Health Office (PHO) reported on Monday, May 16, that five municipalities and one city in the province have remained Covid-19-free.

Based on the Covid-19 update released by the PHO, these are the municipalities of Balagtas, Guiguinto, Norzagaray, Paombong, and Plaridel, and the City of Meycauayan,

The highest Covid-19 cases recorded, according to the PHO, are in Bocaue -15; City of San Jose Del Monte and Hagonoy both with nine cases; Marilao - 7; Baliuag, Calumpit, and San Ildefonso with 3 cases each; Angat, Bustos, Pandi, San Rafael, and Sta Maria, with 2 cases each: and one case each in Bulakan, Dona Remedios Trinidad, City of Malolos, Obando, Pulilan, and San Miguel.

Bulacan province will remain under the most relaxed Covid Alert Level 1 along with Metro Manila and other areas until the end of May.
