66 families in Quezon City get housing unit titles

The Quezon City government announced on Sunday, May 15, that 66 families in Damong Maliit, Barangay Nagkaisang Nayon have received their housing unit titles from the Children International.

The formal turnover was attended by Mayor Joy Belmonte; Raymond Ciriaco, chairman of the board of trustees of Children International (Unang Lingap Kapwa Phils. Inc.); Atty. Jojo Conejero of the Housing Community Development Department, and members of the Unang Lingap Kapwa Homeowners Association.

Belmonte also signed the Deed of Donation and Acceptance for the turnover of the open spaces in the area from the Children International to the local government.

Children International is a global humanitarian organization that aims to connect people in the fight to end poverty and help the children and the youth, according to children.org.

Belmonte thanked the organization for giving the housing units to the beneficiaries and the open spaces to the city government.
