Bongbong Marcos calls Toni Gonzaga 'brave and elegant' lady, thanks Paul Soriano

President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. thanked director Paul Soriano and his wife actress-television host Toni Gonzaga-Soriano for being part of his successful presidential campaign during the recent national election.

In a video uploaded by Paul on Instagram May 14, Bongbong credited Toni for kicking off his presidential campaign. She also described Toni as a brave and elegant woman.

"We should congratulate them for the fine work that they did. In front of me is Miss Toni Gonzaga. Sabi ko nga kanina na siya, ang nag-start ng kampanya na ito. Noong pumutok yung interview sa akin at criniticize siya, ang tapang tapang nito.

"I didn't expect that, this elegant lady, would be able to withstand these criticisms. Sabi ko nga kay Paul 'yung asawa mo, lahat ng problema kayang harapin.' Nag-10 million, 11 million yung aming interview, sabi ko mukhang may pag-asa tayo, puwede na natin itakbo.

"Sinundan pa ni Paul who did our ads. Sa aking palagay, nobody can contest at malayung-malayo. Ginagaya nga eh. Di ba yung isa o dalawang ads natin ginagaya? They were that good and we kept the momentum going and the message alive," said Bongbong.
