Forget the political tension!

Videos and photos of actor-singer James Reid kissing his male friend James Thomas during his birthday celebration had celebrity gossip websites abuzz.

Some netizens gave malicious meaning to the kissing videos and photos that were circulated, alleging that the actor is in a gay relationship.

Sorry to disappoint the "Marites."

Confidants and fans of the actor frowned at those nasty comments, saying that the two James are just close friends and business partners.
