PPCRV receives almost half of ERs, limits operations to 12 hours for two days

The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) has received nearly half of Election Returns (ERs) at 48.31 percent, it said on Saturday, May 14.

As of 10:30 a.m., the PPCRV has received 52,066 out of 107,785 of the total number of precincts.

It said that it received 34,857 receipts from North/South Luzon; 10,033 from the National Capital Region (NCR); 5,778 from Visayas and 1,398 from Mindanao.

No new match rate was released by the poll watchdog. The last update was on Thursday, May 12 at 11:20 a.m., the poll watchdog stated that it has fully encoded a total of 16,820 election returns (ERs) so far which resulted in a 100 percent match.

The PPCRV conducts the unofficial parallel count which is done by matching the electronically transmitted ERs with the physically printed ones which are both generated by the Vote Counting Machines (VCMs).

Meanwhile, PPCRV also released an updated schedule of its operations. Starting Saturday, May 14, they will be operating until 12 midnight. On Sunday, May 15, they will continue operations from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. as well as Monday.

It added that the command center will operate until Friday, May 20 at the Quadricentennial Pavilion of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in Sampaloc, Manila.

Operation hours for Tuesday, May 17 to Friday, May 20 will be announced by Monday evening. The PPCRV also took part observing the backing up of the transparency media server (TMS).
