Ochoa, Ramirez capture gold mints; Peña settles for silver in jujitsu


The national jujitsu team garnered three medals as reigning champions Meggie Ochoa and Annie Ramirez captured gold in the 48kg and 62kg categories, respectively, in the 31st Southeast Asian Games at the Dan Phuong Gymnasium in Hanoi, Vietnam Saturday, May 14.

Ochoa competed in the 45kg while Ramirez fought in the 55kg in the 2019 SEA Games here.

Carlo Angelo Peña, who was the gold medalist in the 56kg in 2019, settled for silver this time in the 62kg class.
