Vicki Belo shares 'senior moment'

Did you know that celebrity doctor Vicki Belo is already 65 years old?

Yes, she is among those we consider "seniors," allowed to enjoy additional benefits and privileges under Republic Act No. 9994.

Just recently, Vicki shared via social media what she deemed as her "best" senior moment.

She told followers: "Hi everyone, I'm about to go to work but I thought I share a story with you guys about what happened to me during election day. It's just a light story because the mood is a bit heavy."

According to her, last Monday, she went to her assigned precinct with husband Hayden Kho and former partner Atom Henares, and their kids Cristalle and Quark.

"When we got there ang haba ng line, grabe," she shared. "So for the first time, kahit ayokong aminin, umamin na po ako na senior na po ako cause I saw the line in the seniors meydo short."

When she got there, she asked the person in charge: "Excuse me po, is this the line for senior?"

According to Vicki, the individual gave her a confused look and asked: "Senior?"

"Sabi ko 'yes cause...' 'sige you sit here, what's your number,' whatever. And when I sat there bigla na lang narinig ko from the back, may meydo galit. Sabi niya: 'Akala ko ba pang senior lang itong area na ito, bakit andyan yan?'"

"O! Should I be mad or happy? Because she didn't think I was a senior. So I guess I'm happy. Thank you very much, that's the best compliment I ever received cause it's so genuine!"

Well, netizens couldn't agree more.

Many online users noted how Vicki aged beautifully.

"Being a senior is not an insult, rather a compliment. My mum loves her senior moments lalo na yung special treatments. She feels like a queen," one noted.
