Election watchdog Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) announced the extension of their command center’s operations on Friday, May 13.
The announcement was made by PPCRV Media Director Agnes Gervacio in a press briefing held Friday afternoon. Initial schedule released prior to the launch of their command center showed that operations beginning Friday, May 13 until Friday, May 20 will only run for 12 hours.

However, due to the large numbers of election returns (ERs) arriving, Gervacio said that they need to extend their operations today and ensure that these physical ERs will be encoded properly.
“We will be operating 24/7 until tomorrow, . On Sunday, we will be operating from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., we will be making announcements at that time for our operating hours on Monday, . We are extending 24/7 to make sure that we can do our encoding today and tomorrow, but Sunday, it being Sunday, it will be from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. only” said Gervacio.
Meanwhile, Gervacio assured the public that they have “enough volunteers” for now, adding that they will make another announcement should there be a need for some.
