Carpool nightmare: Driver who molested passenger arrested in Imus

IMUS CITY, Cavite - A carpool driver who molested his passenger on Thursday, May 12, was arrested by the police here.

Imus City Police Station's (CPS) report said the victim booked a carpool ride in Taguig City to her home in Imus, Cavite. As they were traveling along Villamor in Pasay City, the driver started to touch the victim's neck, the back of her neck and her legs.

The victim tried to repel the suspect but he continued to touch the victim until they reached Imus.

Upon getting home, the victim told her husband about what happened and they sought assistance from the police.

Imus CPS identified the suspect as Clint Jastia, a resident of Barangay Buhay na Tubig.

Authorities arrested the suspect. He is facing acts of lasciviousness charges.
