San Jose Del Monte City's 'power couple' scores huge wins in polls

San Jose Del Monte (SJDM) City lone district Rep. Florida "Rida" Robes and her husband, SJDM City Mayor Arthur Robes both attained landslide victories in the just-concluded May 9 elections.

Congresswoman Robes garnered 136,680 votes, which was way ahead of the less than 80,000 votes mastered by her closest rival for the House seat.

Meanwhile Mayor Robes amassed a whopping 150,394 votes--over 100,000 votes more than the second-placed candidate who received just over 45,000 votes.

The Arangkada San Joseño slate

The Robes couple was proclaimed as the winners of their respective positions Tuesday together with the other victorious bets from their Arangkada San Joseño slate.

Rep. Robes expressed her gratitude to the overwhelming support of the people and vowed that they would continue to serve every San Joseño in a bid to give them a better life and future.
