Marcos expecting call from Biden--spox

Presumptive president Bongbong Marcos will receive a call from United States (US) President Joe Biden today, Thursday, May 12.

This was bared by lawyer Vic Rodriguez, spokesperson and chief-of-staff of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) standard-bearer in an interview over ANC Headstart.


"We are expecting a call from the president of the United States to president-elect Bongbong¡" Rodriguez said.


Giving a snippet of the incoming Marcos administration's foreign policy, Rodriguez promised that ties between the Philippines and the US "will get better" under the term of the UniTeam bet.

"What I can tell you, you can expect and look forward to a better relationship with our longtime partner and ally, the . The foreign policy of president-elect Bongbong, it would be inclusive. We will not be exclusive to anyone," he said.

"The interest of the Filipino people and the national interest comes first and will never be compromised especially on our territorial integrity. It will never be compromised," Rodriguez said.
