Man, woman shot dead in General Trias, Cavite

GENERAL TRIAS, Cavite – A man and a woman were killed in a shooting incident here on Thursday, May 12.

An initial report from General Trias City Police Station identified the victims as Vincent Cabugnason and Marilyn Cabugnason, residents of Sto. Tomas, Batangas.

The victims were on board a car en route to Sitio Carapiohan in Barangay Santiago when unidentified suspects fired shots at their vehicle before fleeing.

Both victims were taken to the hospital but were declared dead upon arrival.

The authorities are conducting a follow-up operation to identify and arrest the suspects.
