LOOK! Mariel Padilla's emotional reaction after Robin topped the Senate race

No words can truly express how grateful TV host Mariel Rodriguez Padilla was after her husband, action star Robin Padilla, finished No. 1 in the senatorial race for the 2022 national elections held last Monday, May 9.

On Instagram on May 11, Mariel shared a series of photos, including her reaction when she found out Robin topped the ranking for senatorial candidates.

"Right after voting we got on a plane and we survived a 20hr trip with 2 senior citizens and 2 kids hahaha the last photo is my reaction when I found out Robin is #1!" wrote Mariel in the caption.

Prior, Mariel thanked the public who voted for her husband. "My Senator is #1 we are beyond grateful!!! Pilipinas, maraming maraming salamat."

At the height of the political campaign, Mariel fulfilled her dream of liver seller of designer items.

Mariel said that proceeds of the online selling would help support the campaign of her husband.

Robin was thankful for the support of his wife. "Babe gastos pala sa kampanya ang solusyon para lumuwag ang dressing room mo. My goodness babe. Ang mga memories natin na sinasabi mo andyan sa mga bag na yan. Desperate times call for desperate measure. Yehey isang positibong epekto ng pagkandidato ko. Hindi talaga ako makapaniwala na ginagawa mo ito."

Among the designer items she sold were from luxurious brands like Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Prada, Chanel, Burberry, Chanel, etc.

The "Pinoy Big Brother" host is a confessed addict in buying pre-loved items via online selling.

Robin and the rest of the winning senatorial candidates are expected to be proclaimed this week.
