K-pop group CIX leader BX tests positive for Covid-19 in US
BX (aka Byounggon), the leader of K-pop boy band CIX, has tested positive for Covid-19 in the US.
CIX have finished their first “Rebel” concert tour in the US, holding shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago and New York from April 27 to May 10.

C9 Entertainment announced that BX tested positive in a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test before going back to South Korea.
“After CIX member BX finished his US tour schedule,he received a PCR test for his return home and was confirmed positive today ,” the agency announced.
All travelers entering South Korea are required to have a negative Covid-19 PCR test within 48 hours before their departure.
“BX has completed the third vaccination, and Seunghun, Yonghee, Bae Jinyoung, and Hyunsuk all tested negative as a result of PCR,” the agency said.
It added that “currently, BX is asymptomatic and is staying in a separate accommodation. To check the artist's health, one manager in charge and one global business team employee are Iso staying in the foreign country together.”
“We will do our best to ensure that the artist recovers quickly and return safely,” it said.
