K-drama 'True Beauty' star Hwang In-youp to hold first fan meeting in Manila

Korean actor Hwang In-youp (aka Hwang In-yeop), who starred in the Korean drama “True Beauty,” will be holding his first fan meeting in Manila.

Agency Keyeast announced the 31-year-old star’s 2022 Hwang In-youp 1st Asia Fan Meeting Tour that will be held in five countries.

Hwang In-youp will kick off the Asia fan meeting in Seoul, South Korea on July 24 at the Kwangwoon University's Donghae Arts Center followed by Singapore on July 30 at Capitol Theatre and Indonesia on Aug. 6 at Kasablanka Hall.

He will hold the fan meeting in Manila on Aug. 20 at the New Frontier Theater followed by Bangkok, Thailand on Sept. 10 at Central Plaza Central Chaengwattana.

The Philippines is close to his heart as he went to high school at Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School and college at Philippine Women's College of Davao, both located in Davao City.

He appeared in the dramas "The Tale of Nokdu" and "18 Again" before bagging his first lead role in "True Beauty," which also starred ASTRO's Cha Eun-woo and Moon Ga-young.

The actor is currently starring in the Netflix drama “The Sound of Magic” together with Chang-wook and Choi Sung-eun.
