Angel Locsin: 'Malungkot but taas noo'

Actress Angel Locsin is sad that Leni Robredo continues to lag behind Bongbong Marcos in the partial/unofficial tally by the Commission On Elections.

A netizen asked her: "@therealangellocsin umiyak ka rin ba katulad namin?"

The Kapamilya star replied: "malungkot but taas noo. Ituloy natin ang nabuong malasakit sa bayan at sa kapwa. Proud to have fought alongside you."

The online user then answered: "kahapon..hirap magtrabaho...hirap ngumiti, hirap tanggapin... (broken heart emoji)."

Angel then said: "Naiitindihan ko. Pero kailangan bumangon kundi mapupunta lang ang lahat ng mga sacrifices and efforts natin sa wala di ba? Pag ready ka na..."

Prior, she extended gratitude to those who toiled with her pushing for Leni's candidacy.

"Na-witness ko ang kakaibang passion na ibinigay natin sa eleksyong ito. I am proud to have fought with you to the very end," she said.

"Huwag kang manghina dahil ibinigay natin ang lahat…na walang pagaalinlangan. Hindi tayo naging madamot, itinaya ang pangalan at oras. Lumaban kahit mahirap para sa ating paniniwala at sa kapwa. Kahit imposible. Lumaban tayo hindi para sa isang tao, kundi para sa bayan," she added. "Kaya kahit matatapos na ang bilangan. Piliin pa rin natin ang bayan. Piliin pa rin natin ang Pilipinas. Patuloy tayong magpakita ng malasakit at kumilos para sa kapwa. Ipinagdarasal ko na darating rin ang araw na makikita natin ang Pilipinas na minimithi. Taas noo."

Bongbong has 31,104,060.
