Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan will hold a thanksgiving rally for their volunteers and supporters on Friday, May 13, at the Liwasang Aurora, Quezon Memorial Circle.

The event will start at 5 p.m.,, a post from Robredo’s Facebook page said.

“Patuloy nating pag-alabin ang ating liwanag sa dilim (Let’s keep the light in the darkness),” it added.

Robredo, the lone female presidential bet, has yet to concede to presumptive presidential winner Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who now has a lead of 16 million votes.

Her supporters look to her for support as she stays in her hometown of Camarines Sur to be among family, friends, and supporters.

During a “Misa ng Pagkakaisa at Pasasalamat” at the Naga Metropolitan Cathedral, Robredo assured her supporters that she will always be with them.

“Lagi n’yo akong kasama; siguro ang silver lining nito, mas marami na akong oras at lagi na akong makakauwi dito . Pero hindi pa tapos ang ating pakikipaglaban para sa mabuting pamahalaan, para sa mga mahusay at matinong mga nakaupo sa pwesto— sama-sama pa rin tayo diyan (I am always with you; maybe the silver lining here, I have more time now and I can always go home here . But our battle for good governance is not yet over, for an excellent and competent people in power—we’re still together in that),” she said.

“Sana hindi kayo magsawa, sana hindi kayo mapagod. Ang ipinaglalaban natin, hindi natapos ngayon; patuloy tayong lalaban basta’t laging para sa kabutihan (Hopefully, you don’t get bored, hope you don’t get tired. What we are fighting for, it didn’t end here; we will continue to fight for goodness),” she added.

The Vice President wished her supporters did not regret everything they did for her and the campaign.

“Sana walang pagsisisi. Sana walang pagsisisi sa mga puso’t isip natin. Alam nating ginawa natin ang lahat. Lahat ng sipag, lahat ng sakripisyo – hindi lang ako pero lalo na kayo: nakita ko kung ano ‘yung inalay ninyo para sa eleksyong ito (Hopefully, there are no regrets. Hope there are no regrets in out hearts and minds. We know we did all. All of the work, all of the sacrifices—not only me, but more so you: I saw what you offered to this election),” she said, adding that she hoped they could bring their sacrifices into bigger fights.

Meanwhile, senatorial candidates Teddy Baguilat Jr. and Alex Lacson lamented their loss in the race.

“Going down to Manila. Heavy heart. While I promised to be gracious, just can’t bear to see gloating BBM supporters,” Baguilat wrote on Twitter.

“Looking at the results sa Senate race, it’s really a popularity contest and a buying spree. We now have a senate of celebrities and family members to discuss laws that impact people’s lives,” he added.

Lacson also recognized that he and the rest of Robredo’s slate, except for reelectionist Senator Risa Hontiveros, failed to clinch a Senate seat.

“Honestly, I am pained by the results. But if they truly reflect the will of the people, I shall accept them. If the results truly reflect the will of the people, then one thing is clear. We have much work to do to free our people from lies and misinformation,” he said.

“But if the results have been manipulated, I am ready to go to the streets again,” Lacson added.
