Philippine Airlines (PAL) continues to add international and domestic flights to date and as it looks forward to reverting back to prepandemic levels, the flag carrier stated Wednesday, May 11.
Before the pandemic, PAL was operating an average of 300 flight legs per day (domestic and international inbound flights and outbound flights daily), according to spokesperson Ma. Cielo C. Villaluna.
(Outbound refers to out of PAL's Manila/Cebu/Clark hubs and inbound flights are the flights into these hubs.)
"Today, we have restored 80 percent of our pre-pandemic number of domestic flights and 60 percent of our pre-pandemic number of international flights," she stated.
To be specific, that's 80 percent of PAL's our average 170 domestic flight legs daily and 60 percent of its average 130 international flight legs daily, she clarified.
"We will be increasing flights progressively as travel restrictions further ease," Villaluna added.
