Ejay Falcon: 'Ready to serve you'

Actor Ejay Falcon has been elected as Vice Governor of Oriental Mindoro.

On his social media account, the Kapamilya star, who rose to fame after winning "Pinoy Big Brother" in 2008, extended gratitude to supporters.

"Sa lahat po ng nanindigan, nagpakita ng suporta, nagtiwala, nagmahal at bukas palad na tumanggap sa isang Ejay Falcon, hindi bilang artista kundi bilang isang kababayan nyo na nag nanais maglingkod ng buong puso, MARAMING MARAMING SALAMAT PO."

According to him, running for the position wasn't easy.

"Ilang beses po tayong ibinaba, minaliit at hinusgahan pero kayo po ang nag angat at nag panalo sa isang Ejay Falcon," he related.

He added, "Utang ko po sa inyo ito at hayaan nyo pong bayaran ko kayo ng tapat at malinis na paglilingkod."

"Ang mga ngiti, palakpak at hiyaw nyo po ang nagbigay sa akin ng lakas na kaya natin ito. Hindi ko po maipaliwanag sa mga salita ang saya at galak na nararamdaman ko ngayon dahil gustong gusto ko na pong magsimulang maglingkod sa inyo."

He also pledged to protect and help.

"Sa lahat ng mga kabataan, ito na si Ejay Falcon ang Kuya nyo sa Sangguniang Panlalawigan. Umasa po kayo mga kababayan ko na may action star po kayo na magtatanggol at tutulong para sa kapakanan at interes ng lalawigan at magbibigay ng dobleng aksyon para sa mga mamamayan," he said.

He ended: "Ito po ang bagong Bise Gobernador ng Oriental Mindoro, ready to serve you. EjayFalcon-Mindoreño-Kakampi nyo."
