Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano will serve a second term after winning this year’s mayoral race.
Rubiano garnered 141,382 votes, beating her rival, former Councilor Richard Advincula, who received 29,490 votes.
Rubiano’s vice mayor, Boyet Ding del Rosario got 129,817 votes against Atty. Tina Bernabe-Carvajal, former city administrator of then Mayor Peweee Trinidad, who garnered 38,350 votes.
The brother of Rubiano, Rep. Antonino Calixto, won the congressional seat after getting 154,003 votes as against Choy Alas who earned 19,067 votes.
The winning Team Calixto was proclaimed by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) officer, Atty. Ronald Santiago, at the Cuneta Astrodome on May 10.
The mayor vowed to continue her HELP (Health and Housing, Education, Economic Growth, and Environment, Livelihood and Lifestyle, and Peace and Order, Palengke (Market) and Pamilya (Family) program.
